Dr Natasha Patel

Our co-founder, Dr Natasha Patel, is a consultant in diabetes specialising in complex diabetes. She previously worked at Guys and St Thomas Hospital, and was the Clinical Lead in Business Development & International – a unique role that enabled her to combine medical knowledge with her executive MBA. Recently she has moved to Epsom Hospital, so she can provide complex diabetes care locally and spend more time with her family. Dr Patel graduated from Imperial Medical school. Previous appointments include, Consultant in diabetes and acute medicine at St George’s Hospital and the Co-clinical Director for Diabetes for the Health Innovation Network (HIN) (South London Academic Health Science Network).
Dr Patel’s recent experience in working frontline during the COVID pandemic highlighted the importance of holistic management to health, which encouraged her to complete her training in functional medicine with the Institute of Functional Medicine in 2021. Dr Patel has extensive experience in managing Type 1 diabetes (including technology), Type 2 diabetes, diabetes complications (including but not limited to peripheral neuropathy, renal disease, diabetes foot disease and gastroparesis.
Dr Patel’s previous extensive experience as Clinical Director for Diabetes (HIN), Managing Director of Interport Ltd and her executive MBA enables her to support start-ups and business in the healthcare environment. She has a track record of working across boundaries and a keen interest in the implementation of innovation and digital technology.
Sandeepa Wijey

San is a business and IT consultant driven to create sustainable value to organisations. He has a diverse background in the area of digital technology since graduating in the UK as a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science and later completing his Executive MBA with distinction. His industry experience spans multiple decades in; banking, brand management, finance, information technology, media broadcasting, government, telecommunications, tourism, transport and logistics.
Qualified in Business Analysis, accredited in IT Service and Project Management with experience in various digital technology development methodologies and frameworks. He has extensive experience in supporting businesses align programmes and projects to strategic priorities and vision from business modelling, value proposition validation, data analytics, requirements elicitation, requirements definition / specification, project delivery, user acceptance testing and benefits tracking.
